Aman Hakim Khan Stats: How Good Is He? Cricket Player Data Explained Simply

My Wild Cricket Stat Adventure

Okay so I got obsessed with Aman Hakim Khan after seeing him smack a few sixes. Thought “I’ll check his stats, easy peasy.” Grabbed some official data site expecting clean numbers. What I found was pure chaos. Like trying to read spaghetti.

First, the page was drowning in columns. BF, BQI, DOT% – felt like alphabet soup. Just show me if the guy scores runs or not! I clicked around like a mad chicken hunting for something basic. Nope. Only fancy graphs designed to confuse normal humans.

  • Clicked “Batting Stats” – got numbers for ten different leagues mashed together
  • Tried filtering by year – filter just reset itself. Classic!
  • Found “Strike Rate” – showed six formulas under it. Seriously?

Gave up and just slammed print screen on every confusing table like a wild animal. Exported it as a stupid CSV file that looked broken. Opened Excel and panicked. Columns overlapping, cells merging randomly, dates formatted as text. Excel basically laughed at me with those little green error triangles everywhere.

So I abandoned ship. Made a dumb little table myself using pen and paper. Crossed out the garbage columns. Only kept two things: Runs Scored and Balls Faced. That’s all I actually care about anyway! Calculated two numbers myself:

  • Runs per Out: (Total Runs ÷ Times Out) – simple!
  • Runs per 100 Balls: (Runs ÷ Balls) × 100 – easy!

For Aman? Most innings he scores like 20-40 runs per out. Per 100 balls? Roughly 120-140. Kid clearly swings hard when needed, not some boring blocker. Good enough for me!

My kid spilled juice on my handwritten notes later. Totally wrecked them. But honestly? Didn’t even care. The simple numbers were already stuck in my head. Sometimes ignoring those fancy stat goblins just feels better.
