- Sacrificed that first hut. This is key! When the first lion scout came around minute one, I let it destroy the hut. Didn’t even try to rebuild it right away. Sounds insane, right? But losing it bought precious seconds.
Why This “Idiot Rush” Actually Works
This feels counter-intuitive, but losing something small early lets you win big later.
- Lions scout slow. That scout takes time to walk to your base, then time to destroy the hut. Meanwhile, your swarm of workers keep harvesting sheep meat out of its sight. Lions don’t know you’re gearing up elsewhere.
- Food = Archers = Dead Lions. All that meat pouring in lets you spam build archery ranges non-stop around minute two. Forget farms initially. Sheep fuel your entire army start. I had FOUR ranges pumping out archers before the first real lion attack wave even arrived.
- Overwhelm with numbers. When the attack wave came? I had 15+ archers waiting. They shredded the first wave before it touched my new main hut. Once you get rolling like this, you snowball FAST. Build the tower then, not first.
The TL;DR How to Actually Win
Here’s the easy start, boiled down:
- Step 1: Build ONE worker hut near sheep.
- Step 2: Spam ONLY workers. Feed them all to sheep.
- Step 4: Stack sheep meat like crazy.
- Step 5: Build Archery Ranges like a madman (aim for 3-4 fast).
- Step 6: Spam archers. Group them up.
- Step 7: Crush the first real lion wave with your archer mob.
After that, it’s cleanup. Build towers THEN. Expand. But those first 3 minutes? Pure, ugly, sheep-fueled survival. Sounds stupid, but works way better than trying to defend early. Go get ’em.
