Alright folks, settle in. Wanted the actual name of the current BCCI secretary today. Figured, “Official site, should be simple, right?” Ha. Pulled up the laptop, opened the browser – you know the drill.
First stop, obvious: went to what looked like the main BCCI place online. Big logo, fancy pics. Clicked around for ages through menus called “Administration” or “About Us”. Found lists of old dudes, past presidents, even some committee heads. But the secretary? Zip. Nada. Felt like chasing my own tail. Closed that tab, irritated.
Thought maybe I needed the magic words. Typed “BCCI Secretary List Today” straight into the search box. Pfff. What a joke. Pages of junk came up. Sites pretending to be legit, old news articles from years back, some random forums where folks were guessing. One site even had a dude listed who retired ages ago! Total mess. Almost clicked on a link promising “Instant Download Full List!” – glad I didn’t.
Scrolled past all that noise. Finally, buried a bit down, saw a link that actually seemed to point straight to the real BCCI’s own page about officials. Heartbeat picked up. Clicked it. Site loaded slow… come on…
There it was! A section labeled “Office Bearers”. Held my breath. Clicked. Bingo! A list showing all the big bosses. Scanned down… President… Vice-Presidents… Treasurer… and THERE. Secretary: Jay Shah. That was it. Finally.
Sat back. Took maybe half an hour total, felt like hours. So much junk out there pretending to be official. Lesson learned? If you want the real deal on who the current cricket guys are, skip the middlemen and the search engine traps. Go straight to the horse’s mouth, even if it takes some digging to find the actual official page. Don’t trust “list download” scams or random websites guessing. Pain in the neck, but at least I got the name. Jay Shah it is. Simple thing turned into a mini-adventure. This is why you gotta do your homework.
